Completed at the end of 2005 in the Cape Dutch style of architecture, including two enclosed porches and an indoor BBQ, Dalnaspidal was nominated Runner-Up for Argyll and Bute Council’s Design Award.  The Design Award Scheme received national recognition in 1999 and is aimed at encouraging excellence in design and building quality to enhance the built environment of the area.

Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway (or even a venue for small weddings), a relaxing holiday, sporting weekend or just a base to explore the surrounding beauty of the Kintyre Peninsula or perhaps even the neighbouring islands of Gigha, Arran, Islay and Jura, Dalnaspidal is ideally situated with many of these facilities located right here on our doorstep.  Located at Tangy (2 miles off the main Campbeltown road) in a spectacular rural setting with magnificent views down a valley to the Atlantic Ocean and Islay, Dalnaspidal is only 10 minutes from Campbeltown and 15 minutes from the world renowned Machrihanish Golf Course (free shuttle service available).

Dalnaspidal is therefore ideal for short, weekend or long holiday breaks, but for those not lucky enough to be on holiday, with wireless internet access and desks in all the bedrooms, why not make Dalnaspidal your “office” while away on business.  We now cater for small conferences and business meetings.

Whatever the occasion, we look forward to welcoming you to Dalnaspidal Guest House.

Please note that Dalnaspidal Guest House is a non smoking establishment

Follow the A83 down the Kintyre peninsula.   About 3 miles after the little village of Bellochantuy, you will see the signpost for Tangy (as well as the brown tourist sign for Dalnaspidal Guest House) turning up towards your left.  Follow the fairly steep single track tarred road through the bluebell wood until you reach a T-junction at the red telephone box.  Turn right and follow the road for about a mile until you see the sign for Tangy Wind Farm branching to your left.  (at the wheelie bins where we also have a sign for the Guest House).  Follow this gravel road up the hill past the cottages at Breakachy and as you start descending you will see Dalnaspidal Guest House in the valley below.
