Getting Here

Travelling to Campbeltown from Glasgow and beyond, can be by car, bus, boat or plane.

Car
By car, it takes just under 3 hours to get to Campbeltown from the centre of Glasgow.

Follow the A82 past Dumbarton and round beautiful Loch Lomond, the up through the Rest and be Thankful enjoying breathtaking views before heading onto Inveraray. Follow the road round Loch Fyne through Lochgilphead and Ardrishaig before arriving at the lovely village of Tarbert - the gateway to the Kintyre peninsula. With only a short distance to go, relax and enjoy your drive down the stunning west coast of Kintyre. On route, looking out over the Atlantic Ocean, you will see the islands of Gigha, Cara, Jura and Islay and if it is really clear the coast of Northern Ireland.
